Hello everyone!
Thank you very much for visiting my website! My name is Shantel and I hope to bake for you someday! I have enjoyed baking for as long as I can remember. While I was in college I found out I was gluten intolerant – I took a break from baking because nothing tasted as good and/or the texture was off. About 4 years later, I was determined to bake a cake that did not taste “gluten-free” for my daughter’s first birthday. After much trial and error, I succeeded. This lit the fire (pun intended) under my rear to create my gluten-friendly home bakery, Fire and Icing.
